It is the begining of May, the flowers are popping up and everything is going green. along with the green comes the bugs. The price we pay for living in paradise. Last winter was below normal for the area with a bearable amount of snowfall.

Since my last newsletter we both have been very busy with the new gallery. Lynn had her two major events in the gallery last fall, which attracted lots of people to the new gallery. The first event was a gathering of 8 local artisans for an arts and crafts (girls night out) event called The Fab Fall show. A great success! The second event was our annual Christmas Open House. Lynn was joined by culinary artisans and local chefs from resorts such as Bigwin, the Black River food Company, The Firey Grill to mention a few. Visitors enjoyed culinary treats prepared by the chefs and of course shopping in the new Yummies area of the gallery. Fun was had by all.
The new gallery has been very popular and we are very happy with the response from new and established customers. I have been totally enthralled with my new project for A.M.E.M.S.O. (the Association of Municipal Emergency Medical Services of Ontario) I have created and produced a limited edition print for them as a fund raising project for the Children's Wish Foundation. The painting can be viewed from the menu on any page.
I have experimented with aerial photos of the area printed on canvas. I was up twice last year and took over 1,000 photos of the Lake of Bays area so there is a good chance I have a photo of your cottage or your area. These are offered in 2 sizes to give you a reasonable alternative. I also take reservations if you would like to book a photo flight. There is no extra cost to this.
The new gallery is open all winter so feel free to drop in.
WELCOME TO THE MURDENS
